Mike Brown is a native Southern
Californian. He did not grow up in Reformed churches
but in the Calvary Chapel movement where he served
as a “youth
pastor” for a short period of time. He became
interested in Reformed theology, however, through
the writings of Martyn Lloyd-Jones, J. Gresham
Machen, and by “The White Horse Inn” radio
program. He has a passion to preach the gospel,
teach theology and help people learn the riches
of the Reformed faith. Mike and his wife Janie
were married in 1990, and have four children: Micaela,
Alysia, Isaac and Iain. They live in San Diego.
